My Favorite Pet - Birds

Cockatiels

Cockatiels were my first pet bird I ever had, and I still have them today since they live a long time. I always found their appearance adorable, and it's really cute when they just relax on you while they're perched on you. If they didn't mind, they'd let me take them around the house as long as it didn't scare them, and sometimes they get scared by some of the shirts I wear, even if it's just a Kirby t shirt. They do eat quite messy though, but hey, in the end you gotta clean those up, since it is a responsibility. Once you get to know your birds, it might be pretty easy to know when they want something. Usually my birds chirp constantly if they're hungry or need their water replaced, and it makes me smile when I get that right, like when I replace their food, and after I step away from the cage, my birds go to their food containers and start eating.

Budgies

I didn't intially have an opinion on budgies despite them being the most popular pet bird, but I quickly started to like Budgies as much as I like Cockatiels after a friend of mine had gotten a rescue adopted budgie, and I began to see it more often. I know every Budgie is different, but when you have a tamed Budgie, it's probably one of the most adorable things I have ever seen, since my friends' Budgie sometimes randomly chirps when she's on my finger, and she even micmicks the sounds of the cockatiel she lives with, and I find it really interesting that such birds are capable of doing so. Since I never really had a pet Budgie in my life, watching online videos of budgies doing some nice things like balancing on a tennis ball, mimicking R2-D2, and other things pretty much make me want one eventually. They seem about as easy to take care of like cockatiels, and are probably easier to clean up after them.
